Newscenter Media News English Premier League (EPL) club, Manchester United, has resolved to sign a new left-sided defender for new coach Ruben Amorin in 2025.
The respected transfer guru, Fabrizio Romano, disclosed this in a post on X platform on Monday.
He said the club has three candidates on its list.
However, Romano said it remains to be seen if the club will make the move to sign a left-sided defender in January or in the next summer transfer window.
‘He wrote: ‘Man United want to sign new left-back for Amorim’s system in 2025, it’s already planned.

‘‘The club is already assessing options with more than 3 candidates on the list.
‘‘It only remains to be seen whether it’s gonna happen in January or summer window (most likely).’’
This comes days after Amorin opened up on the tactical approach he would deploy now that he has taken over the reins at Old Trafford.
The Portuguese tactician, who opened up in a chat with the British media, said that fans of the club should expect a new idea from a tactical point of view.
