Oyo APC elects ex-deputy governor as party chairman

Members of Oyo State chapter of All Progressives Congress, APC, have elected a former deputy governor of the State, Moses Alake Adeyemo as the Chairman of the party.

The announcement was made on Tuesday at the state congress of the party.

The congress was held at Obafemi Awolowo Stadium, Oke Ado in Ibadan.

It was also witnessed by representatives of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Our correspondent reports that Adeyemo served as Deputy to the immediate past governor of the state, Abiola Ajimobi, who ruled between 2011 and 2019.

He is from Oke Ogun geopolitical zone in Oyo State.

Others elected are Wasiu Olawale Sadare who was returned as Publicity Secretary of the party.
