PANDEF mourns Delta ex-deputy governor

The Pan Niger Delta Forum, PANDEF, has mourned ex-deputy governor of Delta State.

In a statement released on Tuesday, PANDEF said the late politician was a respected leader who contributed immensely to governance and development in Delta State.

The group noted that his service and commitment to the people would not be forgotten.

PANDEF further extended its condolences to the government and people of Delta State, as well as the family of the deceased, urging them to take solace in his legacy of public service.

The forum said that the late former deputy governor “played a key role in promoting peace and unity in the region,” stressing that his absence would be greatly felt across the Niger Delta.

His death has continued to draw reactions from political leaders and stakeholders, many of whom have described him as “a dedicated public servant whose legacy will endure”.
