President Federation Cup champions Kwara United have concluded plans to hold a trophy parade in Ilorin on Monday (today), DAILY POST reports.
The Harmony Boys won the competition for the first time after a pulsating 4-3 penalty shootout win over Abakaliki FC in Lagos last Saturday.
The trophy parade will kick-off at Eiyekorin by 12.30pm.
They will moved around Geri-Alimi, Oja-Oba, Emir of Ilorin’s Palace, before rounding up at Post Office.
The players and officials will be hosted later today by Kwara State Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq.
The reception ceremony will hold inside the Banquet Hall, opposite Government House Ilorin.
Kwara United U-19 team will also be part of the trophy parade and reception.
The youngsters won the inaugural Youth League in Lagos on Sunday.
