US Attorney General, FBI Director announce arrest of 205 alleged child sex predators

Attorney General, Pam Bondi and the FBI Director, Kash Patel, say no fewer than 205 alleged child sex predators have been arrested across the United States.

According to Fox News, Bondi and Patel announced on Wednesday that the suspects, who allegedly preyed on children online were arrested in the last one week.

The arrests are part of a new joint operation by the Justice Department and FBI called “Operation Restore Justice”.

About 115 children across the United States were also rescued during the operation, Bondi and Patel said.

Bondi described the operation as “historic and “unprecedented.”

Addressing reporters at a press briefing, Bondi declared that the suspects, if convicted, will be subjected to the maximum punishment.

He vowed that those engaging in such nefarious activities will be found, stressing that authorities “will arrest you, and we will charge you. If you are online targeting a child, you will not escape us”.

He further stated that anyone found harming “our children” will face the FBI and the Department of Justice.
