2026 U-20 WWCQ: Falconets vs Senegal now to hold in Abeokuta

Nigeria’s Falconets will now host Senegal in the first leg of the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup third qualifying round contest at the Moshood Abiola Sports Arena, Abeokuta, DAILY POST reports.

The match was initially scheduled for the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasinga, Ibadan.

The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, however requested for a change in venue due to the deteriorating state of the playing pitch.

Moses Aduku’s Falconets arrived in Ibadan from Abuja last week to continue their preparations for the two-legged contest.

They are now expected to relocate to Abeokuta in a few days, to familiarize with the turf of the MKO Abiola Sports Arena.

Nigeria defeated Rwanda 5-0 on aggregate to earn a berth in the third round.
