Two countries have been eliminated from the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, quarter-final stage in Morocco.
DAILY POST reports that the two countries are Mali and Cameroon.
This comes after the conclusion of Friday’s AFCON quarter-final fixtures.
Recall that Mali failed to progress to the semi-final after losing 1-0 against Senegal.
Similarly, Cameroon also did not make it to the last-4 after losing 2-0 against the host nation Morocco.
Meanwhile, more quarter-final fixtures will take place today, Saturday as Nigeria will tackle Algeria.
Egypt will clash with AFCON defending champions, Ivory Coast in the other last-8 fixture later tonight.
