Super Eagles defender, Bright Osayi-Samuel has listed three things Nigeria must do to beat Morocco in the AFCON semi-final tie on Wednesday.
Osayi-Samuel spoke to reporters after Nigeria’s AFCON quarter-final 2-0 win against Algeria on Saturday.
According to the Birmingham City star, the Super Eagles must focus on themselves, keep believing in themselves and keep playing the way they are playing to beat Morocco.
He also pointed out that the host nation has several great players in its squad.
“A lot of people sleep on me. Nigeria’s win against Algeria was a big statement win, and I think Morocco will be thinking twice against us, but they have their strength too,” Osayi-Samuel said.
“They have a player [Brahim Diaz] who has been scoring in each game. They have great players, but we just need to focus on ourselves, keep believing in ourselves and keep playing the way we are playing, and I am sure we will beat Morocco too.”
