Former Arsenal midfielder, Thomas Partey has been charged with two additional counts of rape.
Partey had already appeared in court, where he denied raping two women and sexually assaulting a third.
However, on Thursday morning, the Crown Prosecution Service announced that the additional charges referred to a separate report of non-recent offences in 2020 and a new investigation carried out by the Metropolitan Police.
They added that the fresh allegations were first reported in August 2025.
This means that the Ghana international will now appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 13 March for a first hearing.
Partey currently plays his club football for Villarreal after he left Arsenal last year.
