Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has condemned the killing of several farmers in Keana Chiefdom, Keana Local Government Area, describing the incident as a disturbing act of violence against innocent citizens.

In a statement released on Friday by his Chief Press Secretary, Mallam Ibrahim Addra, the governor expressed profound sorrow over the attack, which he said undermined peace and security in the state.

He extended his sympathies to the bereaved families and the people of Keana, assuring them that the state government would not relent in its duty to protect lives and property.

“Our resolve to safeguard every resident, irrespective of community or background, remains firm.

“We will continue to work closely with security agencies and community leaders to ensure lasting peace across Nasarawa State,” Sule stated.

The governor also appealed for calm among residents, urging them to cooperate with security personnel by providing credible information that could assist in the arrest of the perpetrators.
