Iran offers $60,000 reward for missing American pilot

Iranian merchants and trade groups have announced a $60,000 reward for anyone who finds the missing American pilot from a warplane that crashed in Iran.

Iranian authorities also promised to offer additional recognition.

According to an Iranian official in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer Ahmad province in Iran, a US warplane crashed in the area, stressing that the pilot or pilots could be on the ground.

The provincial governor, Yadollah Rahmani, charged residents, particularly the tribal communities, to report sightings and help detain them, saying capturing them alive is the priority.

DAILY POST reports that Iran had claimed that it shot down a United States F-35 fighter jet over its central region.
