Veteran forward, Ahmed Musa, has highlighted fans’ support in Kano Pillars’ derby win over Barau FC.
Musa said the supporters gave the team the needed support to secure victory in the game.
Musa netted the deceive goal to give Kano Pillars a 1-0 win against the Maliya Boys at the Sani Abacha Stadium on Sunday.
He has recorded four goals for Kano Pillars in this campaign.
More than 30,000 fans were reported to have attended the match to cheer the team.
“This victory belongs to you, the fans. The support you showed us gave us great strength on the field,” Musa was quoted on NPFL news.
Kano Pillars moved up to 15th position on the league table with 35 points following the victory over Barau FC.
