Fresh concerns have emerged in Ondo State as some workers affiliated with Tantita Security Services have called on the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, to look into claims of unpaid salaries spanning two years.
DAILY POST reports that the workers recently staged a peaceful protest at the palace of High Chief Adekanmi Adegbola, the Lisa of Idepe-Okitipupa, carrying placards to express their frustration over the prolonged delay in payments.
Speaking in viral video circulating online, one of the workers, Dagunro Sola, appealed to Tompolo to intervene and ensure that affected personnel in Ondo State receive their entitlements.
Addressing the protesters, Chief Adekanmi urged calm and assured them that he would engage relevant authorities in pursuit of a resolution.
This development follows earlier complaints by some Ikale youths in Ondo State, who raised concerns about the leadership of the state’s Tantita Security coordinator, Idowu Asonja, and called for his removal.
When DAILY POST contacted Asonja on Thursday morning, he neither confirmed nor denied the allegations.
Tantita Security Services has yet to issue an official statement.
However, a source who preferred not to be named said the company would collaborate with community leaders to address the concerns raised.
