EPL: Arsenal are difficult to stop – Reece James on why Chelsea lost 2 – 1

Chelsea captain, Reece James, has said Arsenal’s superiority from set-pieces proved decisive in their Premier League clash on Sunday.

The Gunners beat their London rivals 2-1 at the Emirates.

William Saliba opened the scoring, before Piero Hincapie’s own goal meant both teams went in level.

Jurrien Timber then headed in the winner for the hosts from a corner-kick.

“This is football now in 2026,” James told the media.

“90 per cent of goals are probably set pieces and they are probably one of the leaders in terms of goals for and defending them.

“[Arsenal] are difficult to stop. They scored two today. Disappointed.”
