Insecurity will escalate from March, April – Primate Ayodele warns security agencies

The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has warned that insecurity in Nigeria will be tougher from March and April 2026.

In a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Primate Ayodele warned Nigeria’s security operatives to prepare ahead.

Primate Ayodele stated that the terrorist groups are growing and waiting to strike the country hard.

He urged every section of the security system of Nigeria not to relax and stay united at all times in order to defeat insecurity.

The prophet also warned the new IGP not to relax because there is a serious assignment for him in tackling insecurity in the country.

Ayodele said: “The new IGP shouldn’t relax, there is a serious assignment for him, and there will be too much of pressure on him. In terms of security, the police must do a lot of work and that’s why the state police will be implemented soon.

“However, it won’t end insecurity even with the help of America as I see a serious attack from March/April this year. We need to tackle insecurity at the root.

“America coming to Nigeria is like making our security operatives dormant, and that’s why the service chiefs must be very proactive.

“The security network needs total arrangement; there must be no division among them, and there must be adequate separation of power in our security.

“The terrorists are growing; ISIS, Jihadists, and Al-Qaeda are already in Nigeria. There is no safety anywhere except that we are deceiving ourselves.

“Security must be intensified in the country. These people coming are brutal. The IGP must be up and doing, though the police of today are much better than years ago. However, the police need to do more for security”

The prophet noted that ahead of the 2027 election, insecurity will be on a serious rise, and people will use that avenue to rally against Tinubu’s second term.

He mentioned that some states that will be affected by kidnappers’ attacks mostly.

“Insecurity will be on the rise ahead of the 2027 election, and people will be coming out to complain. All our security bases must be watched carefully.

“The following states need more security: Ondo, Edo, Enugu, Akwa-Ibom, Delta, Abia, Imo, Anambra, Bauchi, Kogi, Abuja, Kano, Sokoto, and Kaduna because kidnappers will be on the rise again in daylight in some of these states.”
