U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) has confirmed that three American service members were killed in ongoing military operations linked to the conflict with Iran, while five others sustained serious injuries.
In an official statement, the command said combat operations remain ongoing, adding that additional personnel suffered minor injuries and are receiving medical care.
The identities of the fallen soldiers are being withheld pending notification of their families.
The U.S. military paid tribute to the service members’ sacrifice, describing their deaths as a solemn reminder of the risks faced by troops deployed in active conflict zones.
